The Decision-support group aims at developing and applying innovative systems allowing for enhanced integration of environmental, societal, and economical aspects into the spatial planning process and facilitating the implementation of sustainable land use patterns and management. The focus is on application and further development of future studies’ techniques, and linking qualitative and quantitative approaches for a broad, multi-perspective, as well as in-depth exploration of possible future spatial development paths. Further, an advanced integration of sustainability indicators is aimed at in order to support sound decisions.
